All participants and guests of the chess festival are invited to visit interesting historical and cultural places, as well as different types of entertainment:

* A sightseeing tour of the old town of Varna – panoramic tour and visit to the Archeological museum.
* Excursion to Balchik – Cape Kaliakra, including a visit to the Botany Garden, the Palace of Balchik and Cape Kaliakra
* Excursion to Alagja Monastery: sightseeing tour of the unique monastery built in the rocks and a walk through Golden Sands Resort
* Excursion to Nessebar – sightseeing tour of the picturesque peninsula and the old town with its numerous churches
* Excursion to Madara-Shumen: visit to “Madara” Reserve, including the Madara Rider (a cultural heritage under the protection of UNESCO), The Preslav Treasure, and the ethnographic complex with a folklore program
* “The Romantic Denube” – tour in the ethnographic complex Alphatar, trip with steam-boat on the Denube river, lunch and folklore program
* “A Bulgarian village” – sightseeing tour of the region “Pobitite Kamani”, tasting honey, wine, and yogurt; visit to the ethnographic complex in the village of Asparuhovo, trip with horse-cart, lunch in a village house
* Excursion to Veliko Tarnovo – visit to Arbanassi and the church “Birth of Chist”, sightseeing tour of Tsarevets (The Palace of the old Bulgarian capital), Samovodska charshiya
* Bulgarian holy places – visit to the unique Thracian tomb near the village of Sveshtari (a cultural heritage under the protection of UNESCO) and “Madara” Reserve (The Madara Rider - also protected by UNESCO).
